Hey!
Last time I wrote I was in Vegas. It turned out to be a great trip, including some casino wins and a Tiesto concert. A few days after our return to NYC I flew back to Sweden, and I've been working therein a grocery store over the fall to save up some money.

In November David came to visit me in Sweden. It was really great and we saw some long haired cows that he apparently just "had to" see. We also ate Swedish julbord and took a trip to Paris. Paris was amazing and I can definitely see myself living there in the future, I liked it alot. We went to the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame. So cool to finally see Mona Lisa.

Then on the 17th of December I left home once again, and this time it was off to Cancún, Mexico. I loved it there too. Traveling is just the best! We snorkeled and saw a stingray and all kinds of fish, biked on Isla Mujeres and partied at Coco Bongo. It was amazing.

Christmas and New Years was then spent in Mexico City with Davids family, my first christmas away from home. It felt weird of course, what without the snow and all, but it was still nice. They have a new house that his dad designed all by himself and it is fabulous!

Anyways, I'm now back in NYC again! This time I'm on a B1/B2 visa, which is a tourist visa. This means I'm not allowed to work or study here, just BE here. Which is actually pretty convenient since I'm studying at school in Sweden, online, and can spend my time doing just that. I will be taking some open dance classes at BDC and going to the gym a lot, and just enjoy my time here.

Our apartment is in Hells Kitchen and it's suuper cute, but the heater lives its own life and only works when it wants to.Sometimes it's 100 degrees inside, sometimes it's 60. I also found out today we have some water damage in our bedroom so this shall be fun.

I also got sick as soon as I got here. Always happens.

BUT! I am super happy to be here and I feel like nothing can kill my mood right now. At the moment I'm at the Swedish church studying for an exam, and later I have a sushi date with David and some errands to run. I'm even excited about the grocery shopping we're doing later. Yay for everything!

Oh, by the way! Found a great sale at yesterday and got a new coat. Love it!

XO, Lisa
